Courtesy Visiting from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture delegates, Republic of the Philippines on May. 29, 2018

At the beginning of 2018, the Head of Division of International Cooperation, Green Energy Development Center(GEDC), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chen-Yeon Chu went to the Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Thailand to participated in the SAFE International Workshop on Developing Smart Communities with Green Technology. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chen-Yeon Chu met Prof. Dr. Hanylin Hidalgo, Director of the International Relation Office, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, Republic of Philippines. She emphasized that the university wants to be involved in issues related to green energy development and climate change. Therefore, Assoc. Prof. Chen-Yeon Chu invited the members of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Graduate School to visit Feng Chia University(FCU), Chinese Taipei.

 

On May. 29, 2018, Dr. Amelia R. Nicolas, Dean College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Dr. Charlito Cadag, Dean Graduate School of Climate Change, from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, with total 17 delegate faculty members, visited APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology (ACABT), Green Energy Development Center (GEDC) of Feng Chia University (FCU). Prof. Dr. Chiu-Yue Lin, CO-CEO of APEC-ACABT to give a welcoming address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chen-Yeon Chu, APEC-ACABT Executive Secretary, introduce to Feng Chia University and Green Energy Development Center in this meeting, Prof. Dr. Shu-Yii, Wu, CEO of the APEC-ACABT and the Dean of College of Engineering of Feng Chia University involved in the discussion meeting as well. Dr. Amelia R. Nicolas expressed their willingness to sign the MOU and also to strengthen mutual exchange and development between Central Bicol State University of Agriculture and Feng Chia University.

 

At the end of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chen-Yeon Chu led the distinguished guests to visit the center's laboratories and the Bio-H2 Gas Station. They also visited the Geographic Information System Research Center (GIS Center)., Renyan Education Innovation Center, Inno Maker Center, library, sport center etc.
